Search teams found the body of 67-year-old Gianfranco Tampucci, who had been missing since Sunday, on Tuesday morning.

Authorities in the coastal city have pointed the finger at the civil protection department and weather experts for underestimating the severity of the floods and not sending adequate warning of the danger.

Four of the deceased were members of the same family who were trapped by flood waters in their basement, where a three-year-old girl was the sole survivor.
