    Palazzole

    This Abruzzese specialty is the perfect way to use up day-old bread.

    Serves 4-6

    • Fresh anchovies or sardines
    • Day-old bread crumb
    • Garlic
    • Parsley
    • Extra virgin olive oil

    1. Thoroughly wash and clean the fish. Mince parsley and garlic.
    2. Grease an oven dish and layer the fish alternating with the crumb, parsley and garlic.
    3. Drizzle with oil. Bake in moderate oven.
